1. Who we are

KRUVAN Limited ("we"), a company registered in New Zealand, operates Jobora. We are the data controller for the personal data we process in connection with the service. Contact: hello@kruvan.biz.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, login credentials, company details.
  • Customer-relationship data you upload — lead and quote records (names, contact details, job descriptions, notes).
  • Usage data — pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, device and browser information, IP address.
  • Support data — messages, attachments and any information you provide when contacting us.
  • Billing data — handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record; we receive a transaction reference and subscription status, not full payment details.

3. Why we use it

  • To create and operate your account (legal basis: contract).
  • To provide the AI follow-up, integrations, dashboards and reporting (contract).
  • To secure the service and prevent fraud or abuse (legitimate interests).
  • To provide customer support (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To improve the service (legitimate interests).
  • To send service updates, and — only with your consent where required — marketing (consent).
  • To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

  • Paddle — Merchant of Record, for payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the application and database.
  • AI providers — to generate follow-up content from data you submit.
  • Email and SMS providers — to deliver follow-up messages.
  • Analytics and support tools — to operate and improve the service.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

We are based in New Zealand and some of our service providers are located in other countries (including the United States, the United Kingdom and the EEA). Where personal data is transferred internationally we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by safeguards comparable to those required under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, such as contractual protections or recipients in jurisdictions with comparable privacy laws.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access and request correction of the personal information we hold about you. Where other privacy laws apply to you (for example UK GDPR or EU GDPR), you may also have rights to erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. You can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) or to the supervisory authority in your country. We aim to respond within a reasonable period and in any event within the timeframes required by applicable law.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the service or by email.
